The Eldred kids all dressed up

This was a fun shoot this summer since the boys had a military ball that evening, they were dressed to impress! Their mom hadn't had pictures of them all together for many many years and it was fun to update those old photographs.

Happy Easter!!

Well the kids just looked too cute in their Easter outfits this morning so we stopped off on the way to church to shoot some pictures. Josh was very proud of his new tie!

Caleb

Had Caleb in the studio today, he is definitely a character. He's just started taking Hip Hop classes and demonstrated one of his awesome moves!

Headshots

Playing around

I got some new lights in so of course the kids were subjected to quite a bit of modeling as I was working out the settings and backgrounds. They are good sports though and we were having a great time.

I couldn't help even jumping in front of the camera a few times :)

Off to a Rough Start

Had a family shoot the other day and here are a couple images. One of the boys was upset about an uncle leaving the house and the other was good until he stepped on a pine needle. Even the baby wasn't very interested in me hanging around! The family was great though and all in all though we got some good shots.

Working with hot lamps

So I've been working on my hot lamp studio and did some shots with the kids and a shoot with Ollie. So far I've been pretty pleased with the results. Of course working with kids doesn't give you much chance to "trial and error" shots as they are usually willing to pose for a short time! I'm getting ready to expand to a little different set up in the next couple weeks so I'm excited to post those results.
